Your first digitals: what really matters.

Practical tips to help you create a strong, natural set of digitals.

Digitals are simple, unretouched photos that show clients what you look like today. They matter more than any styled shoot when you are starting out.

Use daylight, a plain wall and fitted, neutral clothing. Take a front, profile and three-quarter shot, a full-length and a close-up, and keep makeup minimal.

Update them whenever your hair or look changes. A client booking you from your digitals should recognise you when you arrive.
