The brief arrived on a Monday: a resort campaign, six scenes, two days on the west coast and a cast that had to feel like real guests rather than models posing as them.
The client knew the mood they wanted but not the faces. So the casting started with the people already on Talnt House: profiles with natural digitals, swimwear experience and availability for both shoot days.
By Thursday there was a shortlist of eight. By the following week, two first-time talent were on set alongside a photographer who has shot hotels across the island for a decade.
“What made it work was knowing exactly what the day would ask of everyone,” the producer said. “Call times, usage, the fee, the fitting. Nobody had to guess.”
